March 2008 Triple Demo

Our second meeting of the year was a Triple demonstration featuring Irene, Steve and Barry.

Irene had styled this Blue cedar with Michael Persiano at the AABC convention. At this demo, Irene repotted it.

Steve styled one of the club's Junipers.

... and Barry worked on this azalea.

Barry passed a Photo Study through the audience that detailed the history of the azalea bonsai he worked on.

Barry also brought along a corky bark elm that he had given a severe reduction to reinvigorate it.

Out the back, Ian ran the second night of the Beginners' Workshop.



As usual, the demontration was followed by light refreshments.

The next meeting is a Workshop Night: Bring your trees and tools.
Members are asked to help clean up fifteen minutes before
the end of the night.
