The AABC visiting tutor program allowed our club to bring Grant Bowie down from Canberra to conduct a workshop and demonstration for Bonsai Northwest members. This was the first time Grant has demonstrated at our club and he shared with us his fountain of bonsai knowledge. Grant worked on an advanced juniper and showed us how to produce a great result from average stock. While the juniper was being wired by Quentin, Grant spoke about his techniques with reducing needle length on pines.
