Don Deluca came down for a much anticipated visit to Bonsai Northwest. He worked on a very leggy and neglected black pine. He initially styled the tree using the first branch and showed us how a very large branch can be carefully and substantially bent. Deciding not to pursue this design path he restyled the tree into a beautiful literati. I was totally enthralled at watching Don wire and style this tree and eventually achieve a fantastic result.
