March 2006 Brian Sampson

Brian Sampson is a highly sought after Bonsai Demonstrator on the Australian Scene. He specialises in using Australian native plants in natural landscapes. Brian enthralled BNW members, combining a slate slab, scoria rocks, 'muck' and Casuarinas to produce a magnificent landscape of Australian native trees. A fantastic night was had by all. Many thanks to Brian for his excellent work.

Brian used slate as his base and combined scoria rock to form his walls to create a pot.

Brian explained how Australian natives should be styled as they appear in nature. This coastal tea tree is styled in a natural windswept form.
