A fun and informative triple demonstration by three Bonsai Northwest members saw another busy night. Three large well grown junipers were worked on by the demonstrators. Our resident librarian Ian Barnes worked on a producing a slanting style juniper, Vencel's debut as a demonstrator produced a lovely informal upright while Robert Ferreri worked on a great potential full cascade. All three trees were at different stages of refinement for a bonsai.
Vencel already had some detailed work done on his tree. While Ian had only minor work previously done to his tree. Robert worked on untrained raw stock. The boys ready to get started. Rob started first on this obvious cascade. Ian showed us a picture of what he hopes to achieve in the future. Vencel gets busy refining his tree. Some big branches were chopped.
