Step back in time...February 2000. John Holbrook was demonstrating Figs over rocks. Here the seedling was being placed on the rock.
HERE..is the tree 14 months later. Ready for exposing the roots.
See how well developed the roots are. John grew the tree vigorously keeping the trunk as a sacrificial trunk.
The trunk is removed and the roots are exposed. Look at the difference in 14 months! John will be training the tree into a cascade style
