Christmas at Bonsai Northwest

A favourite demonstrator at Bonsai Northwest is Ted Poynton. Ted owns and runs Williams Nursery in Clayton here in Melbourne. He specialises in Bonsai.
Ted brought along several specimens to talk about. This azalea is brought inside as soon as about a quarter of it is in flower. It stays inside and is watered only at soil level. Flowers stay well for many weeks.
A great crowd for our Christmas break up.
Ted demonstrated how deep watering and petal removal will keep Azaleas flowering for quite some time.
